2009 Season Wrap Up2009 built on the success Peter created in 2007 and 2008. This year saw greater competition with numerous veteran drivers entered in the 'TaG' class in the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Divisional Series. Although the beginning of the season was curtailed by school and the installation of the Iame Leopard ‘TaG’ engine, Peter enjoyed many strong races at Sandy Hook and Nicholson Speedway. Peter greatly enjoyed racing in the significantly faster 'TaG' class that utilizes a 125cc water-cooled engine. More fun was had with the addition of a Go-Pro camera to the kart. This remarkably small video camera has allowed Peter to record exciting on-board footage of his races and share them with the world on YouTube. This year also saw the creation of Peter’s official Twitter page where you can get the most up to date information on his racing schedule and life. In addition to continuing his winning ways in karting, Peter participated in the 2008 Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-out at Sebring International Raceway in December. He’s looking forward to participating in other Skip Barber events as he continues his racing career in cars. For next year Peter will attempt to repeat as champion in the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Divisional Series, as well as make his move into car racing. For sponsorship opportunities, please contact us. |
